Meet the Trainers
Sharon Miller of SK Miller Performance Horses runs the western lesson program at Dragonfly Equestrian Center.
Sharon has been training horses for over 40 years with emphasis on equitation and effective horsemanship. Specializing in Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle and Showmanship, she has competed at the All American Quarter Horse Congress, The AQHA World Show and numerous breed shows.
Renown for her approach to starting and finishing young stock, or preparing her client’s horses for competition, Sharon’s method to training has consistently proven successful.

Dragonfly Equestrian Center Dressage Trainer, Emily Larson is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist. Emily believes continuing her own riding education benefits her clients immensely. She takes any opportunity to learn and has ridden with Lendon Gray, Courtney King-Dye, and Eric Horgan, and trains regularly with Bill Warren. Emily is also a participant in the USDF “L Program,” she believes this will enhance her riding and teaching. Emily’s passion for teaching shows in all of her lessons, whether for the rider new to dressage or the serious competitor.
Emily’s students range from those just beginning their riding journey, to riders from other disciplines needing targeted help with their flatwork, to people looking to work on their USDF medals. Emily is available for lessons, training rides, and training packages. She is also available for coaching at schooling and rated shows throughout Region 8.
